About Blue Door

Blue Door Pediatric Therapy, P.C., is owned and operated by Melissa Bradley-Potter, M.A., CCC-SLP. Melissa is a Nebraska licensed and ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist serving families in Omaha and surrounding areas. An Iowa native who lives with her husband, three year old twin boys and an infant daughter, Melissa has been working with children and their families for more than ten years.


Melissa is a Certified Hanen Instructor for the It Takes Two to Talk® Program and the More Than Words® Program. These programs teach families how to become their child's most important language teacher. She is also a Certified Baby Signs Instructor, teaching families how to communicate with their babies with sign before they are able to talk.


Blue Door was formed to create a therapy experience to maximize your child's communication potential and to empower your family through education and practical hands on experience that works for you! We are committed to your child's communication success and building a plan that is customized to your child and your family needs.


Robin Black, M.S., OTR/L received her Occupational Therapy degree from the University of Illinois in Chicago. She has over 10 years experience as a pediatric Occupational Therapist primarily working in the schools. Through her years in the schools she has worked with various diagnoses including developmental and physical disabilities. Robin also has worked contract hours for 10 years in various nursing homes. She has 2 stepsons, a daughter and an infant son. 
Jill Rose-Roger, M.S., CCC-SLP, has practiced as a Speech-Language Pathologist for 18 years in school-based and private settings. While Jill enjoys helping students of any age, she particularly understands the needs of upper-elementary, middle school, and high school students well. She has a background working with students who have a variety of communication needs, including students with Autism, Down Syndrome, ADHD, and Specific Learning Disabilities. Jill is passionate about language and literacy, and she has furthered her education with specialized training in Lindamood-Bell® and Orton-Gillingham programs, Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS)®, Social Thinking®, executive function, and Autism. Outside of work, Jill, her husband, and two children enjoy reading, travel, walking their dogs, or playing games together.

Chelsea Zimmerman, M.A., CCC-SLP completed her Master's in an accelerated speech language therapy program in Scranton, PA. She furthered her studies with extensive training in inpatient and outpatient neurogenic rehabilitation for adult, pediatric and infant populations. Chelsea has also worked with families and care givers for in home early augmentative communicative and functional language expression/comprehension. She is Nebraska and Pennsylvania state licensed and ASHA Certified with additional training in PROMPT Level I and Interactive Metronome. Her interests include social skills with the preteen age population, functional communication for those with Autism, cognitive rehabilitation for school re-entry (post TBI/concussion), parent training, and articulation/phonological disorders. Chelsea has a strong passion for the use of social media and public events to educate and advocate for her patients. In her free time, Chelsea is a competitive powerlifter and enjoys traveling home to PA to see her family or around the world with her boyfriend, Bryan, who has competed at World's Strongest Man multiple years.

Cami Hallowell, M.S., OTR/L  was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. She received her undergrad and Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from College of Saint Mary. During clinical experience, Cami acquired valuable hands on experience in the areas of acute care, outpatient care, and school-based. She also has experience with interventions for handwriting and sensory support. Cami's interest in yoga led her to research the positive effects of yoga for children and she is very excited to begin yoga at Blue Door! A particular enjoyment of her work is facilitating the development of children’s play and other functional skills. When not at work Cami enjoys doing yoga, gymnastics and hanging out with friends and family.

Sonia Tripp, M.S., OTR/L has been working in the school system for most of her OT career. Sonia received her Master's in OT from Towson University in Maryland in 2002 and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from University of Maryland- College Park in 1999. Before joining Millard Public Schools in 2016 she worked for a contract agency in Omaha for five years. Sonia has worked with a wide variety of diagnoses including developmental delay, autism, Down syndrome, and many others. She feels that communication with the family about what their priorities are is a huge part of her practice. Sonia enjoys cooking, spending time with her family, and traveling. She is passionate about healthy eating, follows many vegan blogs and enjoys trying out new recipes. Sonia and her husband live in Elkhorn with their 2 kids, ages 12 and 10.  

Ben Harder, M.S., CCC-SLP is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2013 and Master of Science degree from Rockhurst University in 2015. He is certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and the state of Nebraska. Ben has attended several focused training in the area of Applied Behavioral Analysis and Verbal Behavior for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other developmental delays. The majority of his clinical time has found him working in the public school setting with preschool and elementary aged children with various disabilities Ben has clinical experiences in pediatric outpatient settings as well. His area of interests includes Early Intervention, ASD, pediatric speech sound disorders, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication for those with significant and complex communication needs. Ben works closely with parents and other professionals to ensure each child is making progress toward their communication goals. In his free time, Ben enjoys spending time with his friends, family, and two dogs. He also enjoys being active, and watching the Huskers!
