Follow the rainbow to Blue Door this summer and join us to work on individualized Speech, Occupational and Physical Therapy goals while during weekly themed activities. Therapy is available for individual in person sessions and virtual sessions. 

Each week a new color will be highlighted and incorporated into the theme. Don't forget to wear the color of the week!

Speech Therapy

Benefits of summer speech therapy include individual attention, continuation of progress made, advancement of goals, carryover to different environments, focus on family specified goals and readiness for the following school year.

Providing services for the following areas for children from birth to teenage:

  • Socialization and pragmatic skills with Social Thinking concepts
  • Feeding skills: increasing accepted foods of selective eaters with the Food Chaining Method

Occupational Therapy
Benefits of summer occupational therapy include maintaining learned skills, provides additional time to concentrate on difficult skills, and allows for stress-free skill development without the added pressures of the school year. There is more time at home in the summer to focus on learning self-care and household skills. Summer therapy keeps the brain and body active and ensures an easier transition back to school.
