Down Syndrome Walk
Blue Door Pediatric Therapy is proud to be a part of the annual "Omaha Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk and Family Festival". We are currently next door neighbors to the Down Syndrome Alliance of the Midlands and love showing our support while being a part of the fun! Walkers are invited to stop at the Blue Door Pediatric booth, play a carnival game and enter to win a holiday inflatable!
Trunk or Treat
Come join us for "Trunk or Treat" every Halloween! This year's Trunk or Treat theme was Candyland. Melissa and staff brainstormed and created a real life size Candyland game board! Children had to follow the colored squares to receive their treat!
Diaper Drive
During the month of December, families and staff members are asked to donate various sizes of diapers to the Omaha Open Door Mission/Lydia House. Diaper boxes are collected and gathered to create a festive holiday tree! Every year, Blue Door staff begins their holiday party by dropping off these diapers at the location of the drive.
World
Down Syndrome
Day
March 21st is World Down Syndrome Day. The Blue Door staff loves to "Rock Their Socks" in support of this important cause!
Teddy Bear Weekend at the Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo
Blue Door Pediatric Therapy attended the annual Teddy Bear Weekend at the Henry Doorly Zoo. Children who visited the Blue Door booth were invited to create their own origami animals to take home.
