Staff Testimonials

My time at Blue Door Pediatric Therapy was truly exceptional. Working alongside Melissa, a fantastic boss who balanced being supportive, personable, and family-oriented with an unwavering professional drive, made for a truly enriching experience. The environment fostered not only growth within the field of speech language pathology, but also provided opportunities to expand my skillset.
Beyond clinical work, Blue Door offered flexibility and encouraged me to explore new areas. I gained valuable experience in customer relations, social media management, and even some operational responsibilities. The flexibility is unmatched and truly having a boss who cares not just about the business, the families, but also YOU as a person is something I thought I would never found. This well-rounded experience not only strengthened my appreciation for the business side of healthcare, but also positioned me for future growth in unforeseen directions, including opening my own private practice when moving across the country.
If you're an allied health professional seeking a supportive and dynamic workplace that values both professional excellence and personal growth, look no further than Blue Door Pediatric Therapy. The chance to work alongside a team as passionate and driven as Melissa's is an opportunity you won't want to miss.

I found Blue Door as a new grad who was incredibly burned out with navigating the working world of occupational therapy at a previous clinic where I felt like just another cog in the wheel working 10-hour days and weekends. My spark and joy for my profession were at an all-time low despite doing the one thing I had been working so hard towards for 5 years. Following my transition to Blue Door, I can honestly say that my spark is alive and well again. Melissa is an incredibly passionate, caring, and flexible boss. My coworkers are truly passionate about the services we provide to our community and are motivated to continue to make our clinical environment a better place for ourselves and the families we serve. Working at Blue Door, you can be driven towards professional and personal growth without the risk of one overtaking the other. We as staff provide grace to our families and one another with ease. We manifest a positive work environment with an open communication style that makes it easy to express your needs or concerns without fear. Here it’s so apparent that not only are you seen as a skilled clinician but also as a person.
